It is very important that you plan your tattoo ahead of time, as things like swimming in pools or open water can greatly increase your chance of infection. Likewise sunbeds or sunbathing while your tattoo is healing should be avoided, and can affect the long-term quality of a tattoo.

Is tattooing safe?

At Bird In A Suit Tattoo Studio we take great care in providing a clean environment, making sure we clean the studio daily, using fresh single use needles, and providing you with full aftercare instructions to provide you with the safest tattooing experience that we can offer. Tattoos are however open wounds and until fully healed there is a risk of infection - so proper aftercare is essential.
